Marie has recently retired after almost 30 years in education. Marie is an avid hiker, rock and ice climber, snowboarder and enthusiast in many other outdoor activities.
She has two dogs,Tess, a 10 ½ year old rescue Rottweiler that is very active; and, Lucie, a young German Shepherd that has more energy than you can ever imagine. A few years back, Marie’s friends started asking her to take care of their dogs. Marie would bring them to join Tess and Lucie on their daily adventures. Being very active and spending lots of time outdoors, she became the “go to” person for her friends’ dogs that needed lots of exercise. Walking, hiking and running is a typical day for her. Always on the go, whether it’s taking her dogs to Kearsarge, Cardigan, Major or Rattlesnake, taking another one running a 5K or simply walking an organized pack for a couple of miles.
Requests from friends to exercise their fur kids became more frequent and made her realize that retirement from teaching didn’t sound so bad after all.
Pawsome Adventures has been inspired by two best fur friends, Rhun and Tess that love to spend hours romping around in the woods. Amazing friends have been trusting Marie with their dogs and supporting her in starting a one of a kind service for dogs. We are sure your fur baby will love Pawsome Adventures too!
